- A: Yes. Dimex has a 220,000 sq. foot manufacturing plant located in southeastern Ohio. This allows Dimex to maintain tight control over things like raw material sourcing, product quality, on‐time delivery and special product/packaging requests.
- Q: Do all products that Dimex manufactures contain recycled materials?
- A: Yes. All products are manufactured from 100% recycled PVC. Dimex has the ability to compound recycled materials in‐house, something that many other manufacturers can't do. To attain the highest quality and meet strict performance criteria, Dimex is very selective when sourcing recyclable materials that go into its edging products.
- Q: Where does Dimex ship its products?

- Q. What factors should be considered before selecting which E‐Z Connect® product is right for a landscape project?
- A. Variables such as soil type, how much digging you want to do, size of job, amount of curves in the project, and level of seasonal climate change should all be considered. One variable that does not needto be considered is the skill level of the installer, as all E‐Z Connect® products are designed for easy assembly and installation.
- Q: Does Dimex sell direct to end‐users?
- A: Dimex has an extensive distribution network throughout the United States and Canada where end‐users can purchase at great prices, often better than if they were buying directly from Dimex.
- Q: What material is E‐Z Connect® Professional manufactured from?
- A: E‐Z Connect® Professional is manufactured from 100% post‐industrial, recycled rigid PVC. Rigid PVC is durable and will not rust, crack, rot, or deteriorate due to weather exposure. Dimex custom compounds rigid PVC in‐house to the proper material and color specifications for E‐Z Connect® Professional.
- Q: If E‐Z Connect® Professional is manufactured from rigid PVC, will it bend for curves?
- A: Although E‐Z Connect® Professional is manufactured from rigid PVC; it is flexible enough to make artistic curves in any landscape edging application.
- Q: What are the benefits of PVC landscape edging?
- A: The E‐Z Connect® product line offers a durable, sleek looking alternative to the traditional poly roll‐top edging and various metal edging products. It's easier to install and, in most cases, a much less expensive alternative to metal.
- Q: What are the specific features of E‐Z Connect ® Professional?
- A: E‐Z Connect® Professional is a contractor grade edging 4" high and is the original E‐Z Connect® product. E‐Z Connect® Professional boasts an innovative connection system and an adjustable anchoring system. Anchoring adaptors slide in the "C" track to give flexibility in anchor placement during installation. Once positioned the 10" strong nylon spikes are driven through the anchoring adaptors securing the edging to the ground. Professional also has great flexibility for making curves.
- Q: How is E‐Z Connect® Professional sold?
- A: E‐Z Connect ® Professional is available in 4' lengths, sold individually with a pre‐installed connector or as part of a 16' complete kit. Some retailers may also offer E‐Z Connect ® Professional in individual 5' lengths, as well.
- Q: Will the 16' kits have everything to complete an installation?
- A: The edging and all of the necessary accessories for a complete installation are included in the kit.
- Q: How do I cut E‐Z Connect®?
- A: E‐Z Connect® can be cut with a hacksaw or circular saw with standard blade. Always where eye protection and take proper safety precautions when using cutting tools.
- Q: I'm trying to connect two pieces of E‐Z Connect ®, but the pieces don't seem to be locking?

A: Check to make sure that the locking pin on the connector is positioned in the hole on the edging. In some instances, the connector may have been inserted too far into the channel. You can remedy this by pulling the connector back toward the end of the edging until the locking pin is positioned in the hole. (Illustrated below with E‐Z Connect® Premium.)
- Q: How do I disconnect two pieces of E‐Z Connect® that are already connected?
- A: Insert a screwdriver, pen, or similar object into one of the holes to push the locking pin back, while pulling the two pieces apart.
- Q: E‐Z Connect® has a limited lifetime warranty. What does that cover?
- A: The limited lifetime warranty covers damage from material defects, such as breaking down or cracking due to sun exposure or other environmental factors. It does not cover things like damage caused from misuse or contact with yard equipment.
